Hydrogen bus handover ceremony

Today, August 3, 2021, with the participation of the Minister of Economy and Deputy Prime Minister Richard Sulík, the first hydrogen bus manufactured in Slovakia was handed over.
The contractors of the bus are the Technical University of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the company Rošero.
The bus is unique in its use of low-pressure hydrogen storage in metal hydride alloy compounds and its management is adapted to urban traffic.

The holidays have begun, but we at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering are not resting and are preparing other opportunities for cooperation for students and creative staff of the faculty. We were visited by representatives of Continental Automotive Systems Slovakia from Zvolen and the cooperation is in the world ? The mandate agreement for Continental was signed by the director Eng. Shander Eduardo Basilio and for the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Dean Dr. h. c. many. prof. Ing. Jozef Zivcak, PhD., MPH.
Students from FME won the Slovak University Startup Cup 2021

The winner of the student competition was Jana Garanová Krišť ákova with team members Bianka Vilinská and Gabriela Hrivnáková with the Smart T-shirt project.

Instructions on the process of awarding diplomas:
- Please arrive at Aula Maxima 30 minutes before the start of the diploma ceremony.
- The student escort (family members) will not be allowed into the building.
- Graduates are required to have a mask when entering the Hall Maxima, resp. respirator.
- Graduates are required to enter a form (Name, Surname, telephone contact) at the time of entry for the purposes of the epidemiological investigation.
- Graduates are required to sign the graduate book when entering the Maxima Hall.
- During the ceremony, the promoter will invite the graduate to come for the diploma. The graduate stands up, steps onto the podium, touches the scepter holding the pedal with his right hand, clearly says "I promise", then takes the diploma from the promoter's hands with his left hand, thanks and performs a mild act with his head. He then bows to the graduation college and auditorium and goes back to his place with a diploma.
- The photo wall with props and a photographer will be located on the first mezzanine floor in block B (Dean's Office of the FME).
