WE WILL TEACH YOU:

• design automotive and automotive component manufacturing processes,

• create custom designs for automotive components,

• work independently in the broad area of automotive technology application, product and fixture design, management and organization of manufacturing processes,

• Utilize a variety of CAx systems such as SolidWorks, Creo, SolidCam, NX, CATIA, etc.,

• programming NC manufacturing machines,

• apply analytical methods for the analysis of technological processes,

• implement reverse and simultaneous engineering techniques in the development, prototyping and testing of automotive components.

   

GRADUATE EMPLOYMENT:

Graduates of the automotive production engineering study programme can find employment in a wide range of professions in automotive production, in research and development centres of automotive companies and suppliers of aggregates and components, in production preparation units and as designers of production processes and systems. Graduates will find employment in the labour market as:

• Project manager: development of competences to focus on activities related to the representation of companies in the preparation and implementation of customer projects, with the proposal of possible innovative solutions to given problems of practice.

• Product designer: development of competences related to product design and processing of drawing documentation in INVENTOR, CATIA, Pro Engineering, etc., design of suitable materials, carrying out checks on the technological design of products and products.

• Process engineer: development of competences related to the implementation of tools for increasing the efficiency of the production process (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean, etc.), implementation of new products within the company, processing technical documentation and work instructions, planning the consumption and flow of materials, execution of changes in technological documentation, tool management, reduction of production costs and maintaining the quality level, integration of production processes in order to optimize them.

• Test engineer: development of competences related to the performance of tests of material properties and functionality of products according to defined specifications, with the analysis of results and preparation of documentation, with the development of automotive components, with the introduction of new testing methods, with the creation of test plans and test reports...
