Študenti SjF a. FEI TUKE získali prístup k najmodernejším technológiám pre výučbu a výskum vďaka dvom novým elektromobilom od spoločnosti KIA Slovakia.
Elektromobily KIA EV4 odovzdal rektor TUKE Peter Mésároš dekanovi SjF Jozefovi Živčákovi a vedúcemu katedry elektroenergetiky FEI TUKE Romanovi Cimbalovi.

On November 26, 2025, an expert workshop titled ŠKODA Auto, dedicated to the vehicle design process, was held under the auspices of the Department of Automotive Production at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Košice.

The lectures provided a detailed overview of the individual stages of automobile development – from the initial vision and pre-development, through surface data processing and engine design, to aerodynamic analyses and strength calculations.

A representative of the Human Resources department also informed students about opportunities for summer internships, part-time jobs, as well as available topics for diploma theses. The student project Disk, intended for first-year students of the second level of study, was also introduced.

We would like to thank the experts from the ŠKODA Auto Development Center team, who were willing to travel more than 700 km to share their experience in automotive development.

• Prof. Ing. Alexander Hošovský, PhD. Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies, appointed in the field of “Applied Informatics”
