About the event
The meeting of representatives of departments focused on automation and cybernetics from all technical universities in the Slovak and Czech Republics is held annually. The first meeting took place in 1978. The event, which will be held in 2026, represents the 49th year of the traditional professional meeting of academics, researchers and industry experts.
The organizer of the event is the Department of Industrial Automation and Mechatronics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Košice, which provides both the professional and social program of the event.
The goal of the meeting is to exchange experiences in the field of teaching automation, cybernetics, informatics and modern technologies. Participants present the latest trends in education, scientific and research activities and possibilities of cooperation with industrial partners. New approaches to the development of technical education and the application of modern technologies in industrial practice are discussed.
The meeting also provides space for invited lectures by experts from academia and industry. An important part of the program are expert discussions, laboratory presentations and demonstrations of practical solutions used in teaching and research.
An important part of the event are also excursions to industrial partners, which allow participants to gain an overview of current technologies, production processes and opportunities for cooperation between academia and industry. The aim is to support the establishment of partnerships that lead to an effective connection between research, education and practice.
